Maidstone Arts Carnival parade

Hundreds of performers led by a sizeable Bloco Fogo band paraded through the streets of Maidstone for the town's Arts Parade.  Also in the parade were dancers from the Mandy Ellen Dance troupe, the Margaret Preedy Dance School, The Maidstone Singers, and Baterias not included, Maidstone Girls Grammar Schools very own Samba Band.

All of this was made possible by all the volunteers and funding from Maidstone Council's Make Maidstone Smile fund and in conjunction with MaidstoneArea Arts Partnership. And judging by the amount of smiles and reactions from people in the streets, this should be made into a regular event.
