We are a Samba Reggae Funk drumming band based in Kent, the UK

As a community samba band, we travel far and wide to bring our vibrant performances to all sorts of gigs and events across the UK.
From summer fêtes in Surrey to bonfire parades in Sussex, and even to the big stage at the London New Year’s Day Parade, Thames Festival, and the Lord Mayor’s Show.

But we don't just stop there. We also travel further afield to perform at events and festivals such as Cleethorpes Carnival, Jersey, Ireland, Germany, and Nijmegen in Holland. Our repertoire encompasses Brazilian, Cuban, and African rhythms, ensuring that we bring a taste of international flavor to each and every performance.

    Join our new intake group and start learning samba! No experience necessary. Our next intake begins January 2025, with a taster session in November for those interested. Experienced players can join the main group directly by contacting our Directors. Learn samba the best way possible!

    Bloco Fogo is among the largest and most versatile samba bands in Kent and the South East. We perform at gigs, parties, and corporate events across Kent, the UK, and Europe, bringing vibrant Brazilian carnival drumming and colourful costumes to entertain audiences.
