Maidstone Borough Council is marking the induction of the new Mayor with a Parade spearheaded by the 36 Engineer Regiment. As Freeman of the Borough, they will exercise their privilege to march through the town to All Saints Church for a Civic Service. Following the parade, the Mayor and Mayoress will be conveyed in a horse-drawn carriage, leading the procession of dignitaries to the church. Bloco Fogo will entertain the townspeople after the parade and the departure of the horse and carriage from the Town Hall en route to All Saints Church.
