We’re incredibly excited to join Burning the Clocks in Brighton, marking our final gig for 2023. This distinctive community event, orchestrated by Same Sky on the 21st of December, unites the city in observance of the shortest day of the year. Participants craft paper and willow lanterns, parading through the city before casting them into a roaring beach bonfire, symbolising the year’s end. The event offers a communal celebration and a counterbalance to the festive season’s extravagance, with a unique theme each year. In line with this year’s theme, Clocks, we’re introducing a sleek black tee adorned with a clean design front and back. This choice reflects our resonance with the community’s creative expressions and the profound theme inspired by the evolving perception of time. Get ready for an EPIC experience! 🕰️🔥🥁

Later this afternoon, find us in the charming market town of West Malling, Kent, for their annual Christmas Festival organized by the Heart of Kent Hospice. Enjoy local music, tasty treats, and entertainment on the stage - come down and join in the festivities! It's awesome! Drumming starts at 16:25. 🎄🥁

The band is back for what was a chilly but delightful gig last year, supporting the Rotary Club of Medway's event - the 5km & 10km Santa Fun Run at the Historic Dockyard Chatham. Expect plenty of running Santa action, a joyful sight as we all don our Santa hats in festive solidarity. Drumming commences approx. 10:40!🎅🏃‍♂️

Tonight, we're off to Dover for their Destination Dover lantern parade. Future Foundry has been working with local schools and community groups to create stunning wildlife-themed big-builds and lanterns for the procession. This one's going to be super magical! 🏮✨ 🦡

Exciting news for Bloco Fogo! We can't wait for the upcoming Aladdin-themed Christmas Light Parade, where we'll be part of the festivities as the parade winds through the enchanting Canterbury city centre, illuminating the Christmas lights. Join us in celebrating the opening of the Christmas Market and the launch of Christmas 2023 from 5:00 PM onwards! 🔥

In the midst of the bonfire season, we're heading back to the picturesque village of Newick in East Sussex, where we'll stand shoulder to shoulder in preserving their Noise, Fire & Tradition. It's gonna be a good one! The first parade kicks off at 6:15 PM 🔥

Completing a trifecta of gigs for this weekend, we are honoured to make a return visit to Chatham in support of One Big Family, a local charity that has been aiding homeless and vulnerable individuals in Medway since 2014.

We’re excited to be back in the lovely village of High Hurstwood for their traditional bonfire and fireworks celebration. The evening begins with a parade at 7:00 PM. Come on down if you're in the neighbourhood! 🔥

We're thrilled about our collaboration with MK SNAP (Special Needs Advancement Project), a new client, to bring some vibrant rhythms (drumming, of course!) to their Fire Festival this year. It's an evening filled with fire-themed cuisine from local vendors, hot drinks, and live entertainment. The grand finale? The Dragon's Firewalk, where up to 100 brave participants will walk across blazing coals (a challenge for our leader?) to raise funds for this incredible charity, providing essential work training for vulnerable adults. We can't wait! 🥁🔥👣
