Charity Events
As a community band, we aim to support as many charity events as we can. For charity bookings, we waive our usual gig fee, which normally includes elements as outlined in the 'Fees' section below. Instead, we kindly ask that our direct costs are covered, where possible. Please note, we are only able to offer one “at cost” performance per charity each year.

Fees
We are a non-profit organisation, but we do have significant expenses, such as equipment maintenance, costumes, and weekly rehearsals. As a result, we have a set fee structure for performances, which varies depending on location and event requirements. Our essential costs include our Director's fee (as we pay our professional band leader for each performance) and any associated travel expenses.

Booking Process
If you're interested in booking Bloco Fogo for your event, please complete and send this form. We aim to respond to all inquiries within 7 days. Once we receive your enquiry, we’ll confirm our availability, agree on a price, and ask you to complete a booking form. Your gig will be secured once we’ve received the form and sent you a confirmation. Terms: Full payment is due within 30 days of the performance.

Disclaimer
As a community band, we rely on volunteer musicians for each performance. We typically bring 20-30 drummers but need a minimum of 10 to deliver the full sound. In the rare case we can't gather enough players, we will notify you as soon as possible before your scheduled event.
